 Kristy is an American actress with a $4 million net worth. Kristy is well-known for her role as Buffy Summers, in the movie "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". "Swanson was born 19 December 1969. She was born in Mission Viejo, California. Her parents were aware of an interest in acting, and began her auditions at age nine. Her first role was in an advertisement for a dollhouse. She then auditioned for other television roles. Soon after, she was able to land several commercials, and then started her training in The Actors Workshop, one of Southern California's most renowned film acting programs.After she began training at The Actors Workshop with R.J. Adams, Swanson starting booking appearances on TV shows. Her early TV roles included appearances in "Cagney and Lacey", "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" along with other programs. "In 1986 she made her major screen debut in two of the John Hughes films. in "Pretty In Pink" she played a talking role, but she was only seen at the very end after Hughes changed the ending in order to test the viewers. In "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off" the actress was also given a minor character.
