Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop mainstream. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Vaina Loca is an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. Mala Influencia was which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and her Dopamina album the following year. Later, in 2021, He sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI for her smash hit Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was raised in a musical family, his older brother and mother are also musicians. In his interviews, he said his participation in music as compulsory. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. The initial goal was to be a veterinarian, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn singing with a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he realized his talents for singing, and the result transformed his career path.
